LET’S TWIST AGAIN

Our Chinos are made from 265g/m2 twill. This material’s a touch lighter than what we used in our old Heavy Chinos, but because of its double-twisted yarn, it’s still more than tough enough for serious wear.

A CUT ABOVE

Classic but wearable is the name of the game here. They’re sharp, yet casual — think JFK searching the supermarket aisles for a ridiculously large pot of burger relish and you’re on the right track.

COMFORT IS KING

Heavy and comfy aren’t usually found in the same sentence, so we added a little dash of recycled elastane to the proceedings to give your legs a bit of freedom. As sturdy as work pants, as comfortable as joggers, the Heavy Chinos will get a lot of use.

ELASTIC FANTASTIC

That stretchable twill is also our secret weapon in the fight against rips and tears. Whilst some fabrics split when they’re pushed beyond their limits, that elastane just takes the strain. Heavy Chinos should be able to put up with heavy use.

THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN

Contrary to popular belief, chinos don’t have to be khaki or navy — and whilst we’re big fans of these classic hues, we know that sometimes the heart craves something a little different. That’s why our Heavy Chinos come in seven colours, an abundance of tasteful tones.

DYE HARD

To make sure those rich colours stay around for a while, our fabric was dyed in rolls before it was stitched together. This helps the colour stay locked in for longer, avoiding the dreaded ‘chino-fade’, even after a few run-ins with your local launderette.

HARDY HARDWEAR

Heavy Chinos need hard-wearing hard-wear, so we paired that tough fabric with horn buttons, double-stitched seams and the all-important YKK zip. The pocket entries and belt loops have been bar-tacked as well to keep ‘em nice and secure.

PORTUGUESE MEN OF WEAR

The Heavy Chinos were made in Portugal by Salgado & Neto, a legendary manufacturer who have been crafting high-class garb since the ‘70s. If it takes 10,000 hours to become a master craftsman, then this lot must have attained craft demigod status a while back.

WEARABLE WONDERS

The Heavy Chinos were designed to be seriously versatile. One day they’re kicking a football around park the with a pair of running shoes and a sweater, the next they’re playing a sax solo in a Harlem jazz club with loafers and a button-down. These things were made to be worn. Any way you want.
